Description

Occidental Petroleum Corporation Company requires Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will be accountable for as long as primary secretarial and administration sustain to the assigned department.

One should have following responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Handles daily office matters i.e. responding telephones, incoming mail distribution, outgoing mail, correspondence of maps, binders, etc. 
  • Conference room preparation and setting up conference calls.
  • Coordinates and plans various business meetings for department.   
  • Compile letters/correspondence as requested by supervisor and staff.
  • Documents and distributes/posts meeting minutes.
  • Occasionally performs administrative projects.
  • Assist the VP on calendar appointments and meeting arrangement.
  • Organize & assist on visitors requirements.

Job Skills

  • College Diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in secretarial/administration position OR General Diploma Certificate (Secondary School) with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in secretarial/administration position.
  • Having strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable to work independently.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry terminology is preferred.
