Description
Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, Pakistan Operations required Manager Internal Audit in Karachi.
Position Overview
This position is primarily responsible to perform internal audit based on annual plan, assist Head of Internal Audit in day to day management of department and perform ad-hoc assignments as required by Head of Internal Audit
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform audit of the departments based on annual internal audit plan
-
Review the compliance of audited unit with local statutes and regulations and policies and procedures
-
Ensure that audit assignments are completed within time stipulated in annual audit plan
-
Review the effectiveness and provide recommendation for improvement in policies procedures and internal control system of the bank
-
Prepare audit working papers and audit reports
-
Conduct ad-hoc assignments as required by the head of Internal Audit Department
-
Conduct meetings with the audited (Department being audited) to discuss the audit related matters, audit observation and appropriateness of management action plan for the resolution of audit observations

Provide recommendations to management for resolution of audit observations

Co-ordinate with SBP and external auditors during their review

Liaison with ICFR consultants for effective and timely closure for their assignments

Assist Head of Internal Audit in day to day management of the department preparation of internal Audit & related policies preparation of annual audit plan and information presented to higher management
Qualification & Skills
-
Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance or any other related field
-
Professional qualification i.e. CIA, CA, CISA, ACCA etc will be an added advantage

Minimum five years of experience as audit team leader with in banking
-
Good command over Microsoft Office
-
Good interpersonal, report writing & time management skills
-
Ability to solve problems, strong influencing and negotiation skills

Good understanding of local laws and regulation
-
Candidate with Chinese language skills are preferred
