Job Requirements
-
One should have done University Degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from a HEC recognized university.
-
Preference will be given to person with postgraduate degree
-
Minimum of 10 years of work experience in the field of animal disease diagnosis and control
-
Good understanding of Urdu and local languages
-
Working knowledge of the English language and ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams is essential.
Job Responsibilities
-
Manage all project activities (diagnosis, surveillance and vaccination) in Sindh in general especially in Karachi and Hyderabad
-
Build up awareness material for farmers in local language.
-
Categorize and perform awareness seminars for farmers to distribute knowledge about FMD prevention and control in local language.
-
Cooperate with the local veterinary staff particularly working at dairy colonies for reporting and handling maximum outbreaks occurring in the area.
-
Sustain a vaccine bank and ensure cold chain during vaccination.
-
Make sure that the staff is following project SOPs while handling FMD outbreaks
-
Do any other duties as required
Driver
-
Drive the office /project office staff and their official visitors on official trips.
-
Can hold local and organizational formalities when involved in an accident
-
Make sure that in this case all organizational and local/country rules, regulations and measures are followed correctly.

Accumulate and deliver mail, documents, pouches, and other communications items from and to the country office
-
Go to the post off airport, government agencies, other UN agencies, institutions, project sites, etc., to take and deliver items and communications
-
keep records as required.
-
Responsible for safe travel and comfort of passengers.
-
Performs other duties as required
Job Requirements

Having Secondary school education.
-
Possession of valid driving license.
-
Five years of working experience as a driver.
-
Flawless and safe driving record.
