Job Responsibilities
-
Welcome guests and presents them with the menu.
-
Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
-
Advise food and beverages to the visitors and also try to up sell.
-
Get food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or on the hand held Point of sale ( POS ) system.
-
Obtain revenues, issuing receipts, accepting money and returning the change.
-
Performing necessary clean-up tasks as wanted or directed by manager.
-
Filling in for not present staff as wanted
-
Punch the order on the POS machine and make sure to enter the special requirements made by the guest while ordering the food. E.g.: No Garlic, less spicy etc, without egg etc.

Talk to the guest and provide support with their queries.
-
Co - ordinate with the bus person, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure soft action and guest pleasure.

Server food and beverage to the guest as per the course of order.

Rapidly reply to guest with any additional request.

Maintaining proper dining experience, deliver items, fulfill client needs, offering
-
Desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.

Arrange varied drinks for service to your customers table.
-
Hold to grooming and appearance standards time after time.
-
Understands and can correspond products and services available at the resort.
-
Should have some knowledge with basic cooking skills.
-
Support bus persons with stocking and maintain the restaurant par stock levels and side station.
-
Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing economic transactions.
-
Print closing report and drop the cash with the front office / accounts department.
-
Secure the shift on the POS terminal.
